Lavender Projects

Our first Lavender pairing was in 2023 between Dante and Poppy. Dante is a Lavender Stripe het Bell from a Blood Bell x Geckos Etc. Lavender Stripe, produced by Kawaii Geckos in 2020. Six years later he still has excellent lavender coverage on his laterals, bold spotting, hints of tangerine and paradox spotting. Poppy comes from B&M Geckos Bell Clown Project and has Electric and Sunfire Bell albino lineage crossed into original Clown line tangerine. We only kept two of their daughters form this pairing, Penelope and Rowan. Penny is 3 years young this year and still has plenty of lavender saturation in her patches, and bright tangerine as well. Rowan also both tangerine and lavender, but in a striped Bell albino package.

2023 Pairing: Dante x Poppy

King is another B&M Clown Bell project male that we got from Brett to add tangerine and Bell genetics to our Tangerine Lavender project. He and Rowan produced some incredible hets and Bells, including our ‘24 holdbacks Ebi and Dragon Roll. Ebi looks like a more saturated version her mom; while Dragon Roll inherited his dad’s enormous size.

2024 Pairing: King x Rowan

Fig. 15. Dante in 2025 at 5 years old. His pattern has gotten bolder over time, and his paradox spotting grew. And he still has those clean lavender sides!

2025 Pairing: Dante x Flower

Fig.16. Flower - 100% Geckos Etc. Line Lavender Stripe het bell. Hadlee is the only baby we managed to hatch from her eggs that made it (out of 2). She had some fertility issues and we suspect she may have been older than we originally thought when we purchased her. She also surprised us by being het for Bell albino. The second baby to hatch (that unfortunately passed away right after hatching) was an albino.

2026 Pairing: Hadlee x Paris

Fig. 18. Hadlee as a juvenile in 2025. He went through an amazing color change as he grew. His sides went from deep eggplant purple to bright periwinkle.

Fig. 19. Hadlee in early 2026. He is in shed here, so his markings are faded a bit. He continues to keep much of his lavender, though we shall see if he tends more towards Dante or Flower as he grows.

This pairing was highly anticipated, but it was just one of those years where we had some incubator troubles. Only 2 eggs hatched, and only 1 of those babies made it. I knew from the moment he hatched that Hadlee would be absolutely spectacular. Several folks have said he’s THE best lavender stripe they have ever seen. While I don’t know about that, I do think he’s the best we’ve produced so far. though some of his kids are trying to rival him! Photos of them coming soon!
